At Trinity, we grow as disciples

It is Christ whom we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone in all wisdom,
so that we may present everyone mature in Christ. - Colossians 1:28, NRSV

We are followers of Jesus. This means we are each part of a life-long journey of transformation. From the moment of our Baptisms (or before) we are shaped a little at a time into the image and likeness of Christ. We learn knowledge - about theology, the church and her history, beliefs and practices, ethics and morality. We grow through practicing the art and craft of prayer. We study, we preach, we confess our sins, we spend time together. We grow. Come grow with us.

Growing in our youth

For 6th-12th graders, our Youth Group gathers on Wednesday nights. We have fun. We eat food. We also talk about Serious Stuff sometimes. Find out more:  Youth Group.

Growing in Prayer

Prayer is how we talk to God, and how God talks to us, and how we let ourselves simply be close to God. In addition to liturgical and sacramental prayer, the formal prayer of our worship services, there are other prayer techniques and practices that help us find and be found by God.

At Trinity, we gather for Centering Prayer on Sunday evenings (except for the first Sunday of the month).

Growing in knowledge and wisdom

There are several Christian education opportunities
  • On Sunday mornings, we gather to reflect on the Holy Scriptures in Dwelling in the Word
  • For new Christians, people curious about the church, or those who want to "get back to basics", we offer the Pilgrim Course, which is a series of short modules, each 6 weeks long, on the core elements of Christian faith and practice
  • For those who are ready for a more in-depth commitment to growth in discipleship will want to check out Education for Ministry, a four-year long course of study
  • There are also formation resources available through the Diocese of Fond du Lac.
